What's new in version 26

  • Three new Dorrough meters — Model 40, Model 280, and Model 380 — alongside the existing Dorrough type
  • Load custom meters designed in the Meter Bridge Pro
  • A new analog VU meter alongside the existing Digital VU meter. The 0 VU, dBFS setting sets the dBFS value that 0 VU corresponds to, with a default of −14 dBFS, so the meter matches your room's calibration
  • Apple Audio Units (AU) support — Massive Meter Pro now runs in Pro Tools (AAX Native), VST3, and AU hosts

Eligibility

Requires an existing Massive Meter Pro version 1, 2, or 3 license. One upgrade per license.

What you receive

A Massive Meter Pro 26 license deposited into your iLok account. Your existing version 1, 2, or 3 license is removed as part of the upgrade — you won't lose any functionality or software support, because the version 26 license also enables the legacy version 3 software. Your current installation continues to work.

Delivery

Upgrade licenses are issued manually and delivered within 1 to 3 business days. Your license will be deposited into the iLok account on file and you'll receive an email once it's available. Please check out using the email address associated with your existing Massive Meter Pro license.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION

The Massive Meter supports the Pro Tools AAX Native, AAX HDX DSP, and VST3 plugin formats.

The Massive Meter Pro is specifically designed to support the Pro Tools HDX DSP accelerated systems.

The Massive Meter Pro supports all Pro Tools channel widths.

The Massive Meter Pro supports mono, stereo, LCR, LCRS, Quad, 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, 6.1, 7.0, 7.1, 5.0.2, 5.1.2, 5.0.4, 5.1.4, 7.0.2, 7.1.2, 7.0.4, 7.1.4, 7.0.6, 7.1.6, 9.0.4, 9.1.4, 9.0.6, 9.1.6, and ambisonic levels 1 to 7 supporting up to 64 channels.

The Massive Meter Pro can be instantiated as either Native or DSP instances.

All instances will appear in the Meter Bridge or Meter Bridge Pro application in a single view.

The Massive Meter Pro plugin can be instantiated on the Avid Carbon DSP acceleration.

The software is licensed with PACE iLok. A PACE iLok USB device is required to store the software license on.
